This golf course features several well-placed hazards such as bunkers, hilly terrains and water. Review: Mountain and Palm are two very popular courses offered by Angel Park. Both the par-71 Mountain and par-70 Palm were designed by Arnold Palmer. Both are well-maintained, relatively cheap Las Vegas golf courses offering a challenging and fun experience. Visitors love the contrast between these courses and the surrounding desert, with the panoramic views of the Red Rock Canyon mountains and the Strip at the backdrop. The courses feature a good mixture of desert ravines, uphills, elevated greens, sand traps and water hazards. The Mountain course has a 128 slope and takes on average between 4,5 and 5 hours to play. The Palm course has a slope of 130 and rounds here are played between 4 and 5 hours. For a complete golf experience, Angel Park offers a great Restaurant and Bar to enjoy with your friends after a game.

Black Mountain Golf & Country Club

Although it's called a Club, it's open to everyone. The second oldest golf course in the Las Vegas area, Black Mountain was recently renovated. The Black Mountain country club consists of three differently designed 9-holes. Founders, built in 1957, features small undulating greens. Horizon, built in 1963, has larger greens and is more challenging. The recently added Desert course will challenge even the most experienced players. Black mountain golf course has a slope of 129, and the pace of play is approximately 4 hours.

The golf course features wide open fairways, greens on most holes are in good shape. 7 holes have water hazards. It has a slope of 110, and rounds here are usually played in under 4,5 hours. The first few holes are pretty easy, but the game gets more interesting and challenging further on. Surrounded by mountains and offering great view of the Eldorado Valley, the Boulder City offers a pleasant, relatively cheap Las Vegas golf experience.

Relatively narrow fairways are lined by mature trees and houses belonging to the Los Prados Community. Well placed sand traps and large greens, tight fairways will challenge you to better control your shots. Overall, Los Prados offers a good and very cheap Las Vegas golf experience and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip.

Review: Golf Summerlin has three beautiful, well maintained, relatively cheap Las Vegas golf courses: Palm Valley, Highland Falls and Eagle Crest. The shortest of the three courses, Eagle Crest, is a picturesque wonder, built on the foothills of a mountain. This is an executive course that can be played in under 3,5 hours. It consists of many par 3 and a few par 4 holes and has a slope of 95. The Highland Falls course is more challenging - it's built on an elevation of over 3000 feet and features strategically places fairways, sand traps, but not much water. This course boasts incredible views thanks to its elevation. While professional golfers can find it easy, for beginners the Palm Valley is the longest and toughest of the three golf courses at Summerlin with a slope of 123 and can be played in between 4 and 4,5 hours. All three of these cheap Las Vegas golf courses are moderately priced, well maintained and offer a good balance of wide forgiving fairways, challenging hills and bunkers.

Siena Golf Club

This golf course is carved in the foothills of the Spring Mountains, which provides great panoramic views and relaxing atmosphere. The landscape, designed by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt, features elevated and undulating greens. Multiple bunkers will challenge you and will let you play with a variety of clubs. The Siena Golf Club's course has a slope of 129 and can be played in between 4,5 to 5 hours. Its a fairly playable golf course in good condition, and although it's not the cheapest course in Las Vegas, you can get a fair price during off-peak hours.

Durango Hills Golf Course is a wonderful Executive Desert-style cheap Las Vegas golf course that offers you the chance to hone your short game on these 14 par-3 and 4 par-4 holes. The course is beautifully surrounded by the Red Rock, Snow and Sheep Mountains offering spectacular scenery as you enjoy a leisurely round on this almost 3,800 yard course. There are bunkers on every hole and the signature 18th hole is a charm waiting to be played with water surrounding the entire right hand side of the green. This Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley design will definitely have you playing at the top of your game and enjoying the world class golf that this course has to offer the novice to the professional.

Taylormade Golf Experience

The Taylormade Golf Experience (former Callaway Golf) is a cheap Las Vegas golf course perfect for that quick honing of your skills on a tour quality par-3, 9-hole course. The course can be played at night because each hole is fully lighted. Holes range from 110-185 yards each with a tour quality green that is rolled for precise speed. The desert-style layout offers view of the Las Vegas Strip as well as stunning hole placements amongst the sand and cactus. The practice facility is by far the best with 113 stations with a choice of artificial or natural grass to practice your winning shots. In addition there are 5 target greens up to 275 yards to practice those upcoming challenging shots on the course.
