Whitney Houston Las Vegas show review
An Evening with Whitney Houston Las Vegas show: The Whitney Houston Hologram Concert playing at Harrah's uses incredible state-of-the-art holographic technology that brings Whitney to life is superb and leaves you feeling like you saw her live onstage once again. Here is my review.
She left the world way too soon and if you never had the chance to see her in concert, then you need to go watch the show. You will be thrilled to hear all of her classic hits using digitally remastered forms from many of her outstanding concerts while she was alive.
An Evening with Whitney Houston: The Whitney Houston Hologram Concert is a spectacular 75-minute production directed and choreographed by renowned Fatima Robinson. The masterful production highlights all of Whitney’s greatest concert moments from the past.
With the use of the holographic technology, the concert conveys Whitney’s life from her early days when she broke onto the scene with her first and second hit albums named Whitney Houston and Whitney. From here the interesting holographic technology portrays Whitney through the rest of her fascinating career including scenes from her hit movie The Bodyguard. The concert also features a couple of numbers from her last album entitled I Look to You that was released in 2009.
During the show Whitney comes to life immediately with the holographic images accompanied by a full live band and choreographed dancers. You can expect to hear many of her iconic ballads like All the Man I Need, I Will Always Love You, Could I Have This Kiss Forever, and Didn’t We Almost Have It All. While you are mesmerized on Whitney, the remastered concert versions of her songs are the true beauty of the production with Whitney on stage just like she loved to be.
The audience tends go to crazy when she starts in on I Wanna Dance with Somebody and the crowd sways in their seats listening to her beautiful voice. The dancing on this number is simply incredible, as the dance troupe tears into some off-the-chain moves leaving you speechless. Throughout the whole show, you will truly not believe your eyes with the holographic imaging being spot on throughout the production along with superb lighting and special effects highlighting a tremendous evening of fun.
Another special moment during An Evening with Whitney Houston: The Whitney Houston Hologram Concert is Whitney’s heart felt singing during a rendition of Where Do Broken Hearts Go, which will bring tears to your eyes while thinking about past love affairs in your own life. The somber moments of the song are simply heart breaking.
Yet there is still more from Whitney during the production including plenty from the soundtrack of The Preacher’s Wife which was produced by Whitney and is still the number one selling gospel album of all time.
It’s no wonder that Whitney won over 400 awards from Grammys to Emmys to numerous Billboard awards and don’t forget she has been inducted into the Rock-n-Roll and Rhythm and Blues Music Halls of Fame. The iconic performer still holds the record for Most Honored Female Singer of All Time.
If you have missed Whitney since her untimely death in 2012, then An Evening with Whitney Houston: The Whitney Houston Hologram Concert is the only ticket to buy when you are visiting Sin City.
