Adele’s Life Story

Born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins in Tottenham, London, United Kingdom, Adele has mastered the music industry in her young 34 years of age. She first hit the scene after graduating in arts from the BRIT School in 2006 and immediately signed a record deal with XL Recordings.

Her legacy of hits started with her first album, 19, released in 2008 which produced stellar hit songs like Chasing Pavements and Make You Feel My Love. Her first album won her her first Grammy Award as Best New Artist. Adele’s second album entitled 21, was a true block-buster that broke the best-selling album mark of any artist in the 21st Century with more than 31 million copies sold. Her brilliance on the album created three top-ten songs on the Billboard Hot 100 list making her the first female artist in history to achieve such a feat with her classic songs Rolling In the Deep, Someone Like You, and Set Fire to the Rain. It also produced six more Grammy Awards for the budding star.

Adele’s list of accomplishments don’t stop with the before mentioned accolades and she went on to help with the soundtrack of James Bond’s movie Skyfall which won her an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. Three years later she released only her third album entitled 25 that produced five more Grammy Awards with Hello. Her latest achievement is entitled 30 with the hit single Easy On Me was the best selling album of 2021.
