Located on South Main Street, the Burlesque Hall of Fame brings the world of burlesque entertainers to the forefront through a series of exhibits. The exhibits at the Burlesque Hall of Fame concentrate on burlesque dancers around the world with artifacts that range from dresses, gloves, g-strings, pasties, historic photographs and posters. Exhibits such as A Half-Century Half-Dressed: Celebrating 50 Years of the Burlesque Hall of Fame are racy but not raunchy and are packed with interesting tidbits of history about the industry as well as the dancers. Some of the featured dancers in the museum are stars like Rip Novita, Tempest Storm, Noel Toy, Bambi Jones and Gina Bon Bon who debuted in New York City in 1965. The museum also hosts the Miss Exotic World Pageant which takes place annually in June.
