Absinthe Las Vegas - Tickets & Review
Absinthe Las Vegas is one interesting adults-only show that transports the guest from real life into a carnival type atmosphere filled with aerial acrobatics and risque burlesque. Read below our review of the show.
Once you arrive at the Roman Plaza within Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino you will enter the crazy atmosphere that is presented by Spiegelworld. Absinthe has all the attributes and more of a long running Las Vegas stage show, so it is no surprise that Absinthe is regarded as one of the most innovative performances on the Strip.
Absinthe Las Vegas intertwines several aspects of burlesque and high flying aerial artists that can accomplish death defying acts into one heart stopping show. The burlesque portion is nothing less than what you would expect from an adult only show on the Strip. The show is hosted by one devilish Gazillionaire and his partner Joy Jenkins who both walk the audience through a night of raunchy entertainment. The Gazillionaire is not a very politically correct person and he plays this card many times throughout the show. The experience of the performers stands out as they complete their skits that include inspiring twists in the air, mind spinning somersaults and scantily clad burlesque dancers.
Absinthe brings together the various aspects of acrobatics, comedy, dancing and at times semi-nudity to the stage in a crowd pleasing atmosphere. The burlesque portion of the show features dancers with attractive costumes that highlight the beautiful human body. The comedy portion has a certain punchiness that will make laugh until your stomach hurts. The aerialist portion of the show includes exciting acrobatics flying above the crowd while performing twists, summersaults and other death defying stunts.
The stage setting is choreographed with lights, music and backdrops that match the theme of the skit that is being performed. The artists of Absinthe Las Vegas are masters of their trade whether they are telling a joke, performing a lust filled dance or twisting in the air as they are flying above the stage. The show has an energy that is translated to the crowd in this intimate setting that puts the guest right on top of the action.
The venue really enhances your evening of watching incredible aerial feats as well as a wonderful cabaret show. The circular stage of Absinthe has the sex appeal to enhance a gritty burlesque show that highlights the human body as well as an ultra-high flying acrobat that will walk the highest trapeze. The interior of the tent plays right into the theme of show. There are mirrors, stained glass and wonderful décor draping the walls that add to the illusion of aerialists and sensuality of the burlesque dancers. The inside atmosphere truly mixes a circus with the house of the rising sun that will challenge your senses and your imagination. When you arrive to your seats you will find excellent sightlines of all the action. As you view the centered round stage, you will feel up close and personal with the performers.
Absinthe Las Vegas is the ideal Sin City stage show for a person who is looking for the unexpected, unbelievable and uncensored evening of entertainment.
