RuPaul’s Drag Race Live Las Vegas Review

The fabulous RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Las Vegas playing at Flamingo is one of the most entertaining shows to hit the Strip which delivers every time the Queens take the stage.

The show is absolutely gorgeous to watch and the drag queens will have you thinking they are actually women. The make-up, the dancing, the lip syncing, and the wardrobes are all fantastic with all the glitz and glamour you expect from a topnotch Las Vegas production.

The 90-minute event playing at the Flamingo Showroom will knock your socks off from the moment the beautiful drag queens take the stage. They are the perfect queens to prance around like they own the place, which they do in the end. The show is packed full of fun and everyone in the audience is leaving with smiles on their faces and joy in the hearts. But then again, I don’t think you would expect anything different from a show that is directed by RuPaul, produced by World of Wonder and Voss Events. The production is choreographed by none other than Jamal Sims who gives the show that extra little push over the top.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Las Vegas show features a rotating cast of fourteen very talented drag queen who have honed their skills to perfection. Don’t be surprised when your favorites like Asia O’Hara, Kameron Michaels, and Derrick Barry show-off their stuff as they strut across the stage like no other queens can. Some nights you might be treated to long time queens Coco Montrese, Alexis Mateo, and Kahanna Montrese who still have what it takes to be the top queen of the bunch. The newest members of the show which include Jaida Essence Hall, Eureka O’Hara, Plastique Tiara, and Trinity K. Bonet are all ideally placed throughout the production that is surly going to turn some heads and other things in crowd.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Las Vegas brings all the pageantry to the production with numerous stage prop changes and the costumes are just delightful and ascent each and every queen’s body to the hilt. The choreography is second-to-none in Las Vegas and the queens are more than happy to flaunt their newly created costumes and more on stage every single night. The dancing during the production is simply fabulous with the Pit Crew joining the queens on stage in a brilliant fashion that highlights their dance moves.

The soundtrack for the show is superb and is exactly what a production like this needs. New songs written by RuPaul, Leland, and World of Wonder’s chief creative officer Tom Campbell. The soundtrack is produced by Gabe Lopez who puts the finalizing touches to a stellar set of songs and medleys.

The bottom line on the show is doesn’t matter whether you are a fan of RuPaul or drag queens, RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! is a very entertaining and energetic show that is highly recommend by everyone who has attended the production in the past.
